Crown of the Gods is a team game.  No one person can win on their own.  Everyone must work together to fill Temples with resources, build offense and crush the enemy!

 

You need to join an alliance that is right for you.

 

Watch people in World Chat, see who is helpful or not?  Who answers questions?  Who has members near you on the map?

 

Read the alliance profiles, some alliances may be for groups of friends, others may insist you are on a certain continent, some may be training alliances or a pathway into another larger alliance.

 

Look at the Rankings lists - who is at the top, who is not?  Would you prefer a small friendly group or an aggressive war machine?

 

You may receive invitations - they will be in your 'Alliances' screen.  If there is a person who you see a lot in chat, and like the look of their alliance - ask if you may have an invitation.  I would not recommend joining the first alliance that sends you an invitation, without knowing who they are, or at least saying hello.
